Charcoal is a clean, renewable, and eco-friendly source of energy that is used for cooking, heating, and even as a source of electricity. Uganda has a rich supply of raw materials needed for charcoal production, making it an ideal location for export charcoal projects.
Cooperation of charcoal projects for Uganda
At the end of 2021, Shuliy Factory, a leading manufacturer of charcoal machines in China, completed a project in Uganda, supplying a complete set of charcoal processing equipment to a farmer with a large farm of approximately 100,000 acres.
The equipment was used to process raw materials such as tree branches and leaves, peanut shells, rice husks, and wood residues from nearby wood processing plants. The Shuliy Factory also sent two engineers to Uganda to provide technical assistance in the installation, connection, and testing of the equipment, as well as training the local workers on how to operate and maintain the machines.
The project was successful, and the farmer was satisfied with the quality of the equipment and the services provided by Shuliy Factory. As a result, the farmer purchased a charcoal briquette drying machine and 4 tons of binder from Shuliy Factory.
This demonstrates the increasing demand for high-quality charcoal products in Uganda, and the opportunities available for businesses to invest in the export of charcoal projects.
